Upgrade from PCCC version
2.x
to
PC Card Catalog version 3.3
If you are a current PCCC user (version
2.7x or earlier) you will want to consider moving up to
version 3. Look at the What's New
description. We think you will be as excited as we are about
the new features.
Because of the move from version 2.xx to version
3.x will require data format conversion, Library Concepts
must charge an upgrade fee. We have worked to keep this
charge as reasonable as possible.

Read this before you UPGRADE:
To enjoy the many new and exciting features that Version
3 has to offer, current users of Version 2.x will need to
UPGRADE their programs and their data. This is not
an UPDATE which we have always made available at no
cost. This requires a format conversion in your library's
data.
Here is a description of the process:
1) Order the UPGRADE CDROM. (This is available from Library
Concepts only.)
2) Plan to upgrade the program and data on the same computer
that has PCCC Version 2.x. (You may move to another
computer later.)
3) Insert the UPGRADE CD into your CD drive. It should "auto-start,"
but instructions are provided if it does not.
4) Follow the INSTALLATION and UPGRADE instructions as it
automatically steps through the process.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have single installation of
PCCCv2 on your computer, the conversion process is
pretty simple. If you have more than one copy or you are
uncertain, it would be wise to have someone available during
the actual upgrade who understands how to find files and
move around in Windows folders. [Library Concepts
can assist you with this, but must necessarily add a one-time$55
phone support charge. US only.]
5) Once your upgrade is complete, you will be ready to enjoy
the great, new features of PCCCv3.
6) The support for version 3 is the same: support via e-mail
is free. However, you may also want to consider our Enhanced
Support option.
